The Carbon 600 mast sections are composed of a 600 gram carbon wrap around a resilient fiberglass core for improved performance over fibreglass. Placing a carbon 600 mast section between more flexible fibreglass and stiffer Ultra Carbon 900 mast sections provides a constant curve. Also, placing Carbon 600 section at the top of the mast allows the mast to flex to exhaust wind gusts while stiil providing improved performance over fibreglass.
